I visited Coimbra for short stay and had a FAIRLY NICE experience at this hotel. There were pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Location: the property was close to the river, the garden and excellent restaurant, pasteleria & easily walkable to historical centre. I had coffee at Pastelaria Universidade, located within 5 minutes walk.

I had the privilege of staying in this wonderful hotel in a perfect location, right at the corner of the Praça De Republica. The host, Hugo, was fantastic and paid attention to the little things that made a big difference. I loved the joint kitchen area, where I could store my things without any noisy disturbances. The hotel is also very close to the university, yet surprisingly quiet.
Everything was exquisite, there's nothing that could be improved.
